Now, I don't know where I got this idea but somewhere along the way I figured that I would be a totally different person once I lived aboard. It didn't happen. I'm still lazy, I still love complaining, and I still have no motivation. The difference is though, now, I have to stuff 6 weeks of laundry into duffle bags, throw it in the dinghy, motor it to shore, carry it up the dock, then walk 2 blocks with it on my back to the Laundromat. Don't get me wrong, I make M carry it as often as I can, but he isn't always around to carry me.
Anyway, the reason for this story is to build a foundation to present the greatest invention to land in my possession this year. See, last Christmas I made a Christmas wish list as many people do. One of the items on the wish list was a folding cart. Lucky me that somehow my wish list ended up in M's grandparents hands and I was given a folding cart. Ta-da! Anyway, however it happened I am now the proud owner of a West Marine folding boat cart. I know it's not that impressive but it is totally worth getting one. It now allows me to further encourage my laziness and makes that walk to the laundromat just a wee bit easier.

PS. I hope most of you will pick up on the hints of sarcasm and irony in this post. For the rest of you, I'm really not as bad as I make myself out to be...
